Welcome to the Sound Shore Runners and Multisport Club!
The Sound Shore Runners & Multisport Club was born in summer 2002 to fill a need in lower Westchester County for a group that brought people together who pursue a healthy, active lifestyle through running, cycling and other sports. We wanted to meet friends who shared our healthy spirit! And we have found them.
Today, there are more than 275 people on the club’s roster - from New Rochelle to Greenwich, Mamaroneck to White Plains -- and we're growing. Our list of club activities has grown from running and riding to embrace biathlons, triathlons, kayaking, swimming, skiing, mountain biking, yoga, weight training and any sport a member suggests.
Our constantly evolving list of offerings includes:
- Regular morning, evening and weekend group runs
- Weekly speedwork sessions
- Group rides (schedule depends on the season)
- Trail runs
- Social events such as monthly brunches, seasonal dinners, parties, outdoor concerts, BBQs and even club trips
- Special event and destination runs (example – Rockefeller Estate in Tarrytown, Reach the Beach Relay in New Hampshire)
- Friendly competition in local races
- Community road races that we help organize
- Speakers and clinics on topics such as nutrition, hot weather running and injury prevention
We offer a supportive group to work out with you throughout the year, or cheer you on when you approach the finish line at races. We offer friends to eat with you, drink with you, debate with you, laugh with you, run with you, ride with you, and care about you.
Anyone who seeks an active and healthy life is welcome to join. We have members who do fun runs, serious races, marathons, bi's and tri's, and no races at all! Young or old; slow or fast; long distance or short; new to fitness or veteran; singles, couples and families with children --everyone is welcome!
Dues are just $30 per year/individual and $50/household, and you can try out the club a while before paying dues if you like. Come join a run or attend a party! We can't wait to meet you. Application is here! See you on the roads!

The Paine to Pain 1/2 Marathon Classic will be run September 28th along the new Colonial Greenway; a spectacular necklace of parks and trails in southern Westchester.

Join the club at the Saturday morning group run - 8 AM, Flint Park.
On every third Saturday you can find us running at the Rockefeller Trails.

Paid Sound Shore Multisport club members now receive discounts on equipment from our partners at SBR Multi Sports. The club discount offers 5% off all bikes, bike gear and nutrition products, as well as 10-15% off all other items. Discounts are available through a specially assigned discount code that each member receives from the club.
